About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to drive sales of our cutting-edge visual inspection systems to manufacturers. This critical role focuses on acquiring new customers within the automotive (Tier 1 and OEMs), medical device, and contract manufacturing industries. You will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in our company's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting key decision-makers (factory automation operations, product line owners, quality assurance owners) within automotive, medical device, and contract manufacturing companies.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their specific quality assurance challenges and demonstrating the value proposition of our visual inspection systems.
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries, expanding our market presence.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team, providing feedback from the field to ensure our solutions meet customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking progress against targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience selling complex technical solutions, preferably visual inspection systems or related manufacturing automation equipment, directly to automotive (Tier 1 and OEMs), medical device, and/or contract manufacturers.
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance processes and challenges within these target industries.
  • Established network of contacts within automotive, medical device, and/or contract manufacturing is a significant advantage.
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships.Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and a strong work ethic.Ability to travel as needed.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus.
